Paradox anerythristic type II Sonoran dwarf Boa??

We bred this girl last year (2008) she came from our het x het for anery sonoran pairing,at first glance she looked like a run of the mill anery II sonoran boa but with this red speckling. As time has went on even the normal sonoran boa's from this litter and our pure sonoran boa's from other lines we are working with are losing some of there red pigment, this girls just becomes more defined. We're really looking forward to seeing how this boa turns out,we will keep up dating photos here as time go's on.

I think you'd agree she just looks like a run of the mill anery II sonoran? We did mean to take pic's of her beside a normal and an anery from the same litter but they were all in shed. We will do this in the near future.

A little smudge of orangery red.

It's more apparent on her sides and belly.

Just like paint's been splashed over her.

This is our female Sonoran boa from our pair. She is 100% het for anery type II which is the key to make a blizzard, pewter and ghost boa's.Sonorans are thought to be the most northern boa in the world and come from the sonoran desert region in Mexico. Our oldest  female at 13 years old is only 5 and a half feet in length and the male is a 3 and a half and are fully grown.Dwarf boa's are now very popular in the pet trade as they don't require as large a viv's as a normal boa constrictor imperial.

We have had a litter from this girl on 12/7/09,please see our available/news page for details.

This is one of our hold back female sonoran dwarf boa's from our 2008 breeding. She is 66% possible het for anery type 2.These normals dwarfs will come in handy in our future pure sonoran boa projects.I think the picture of her mother above shows the great changes that's to come.

This is one of our hold back anerythristic type 2 sonoran dwarf boas, produced by ourselves in 2008.We have several projects for these in the furture and hope to produce many more beautiful combo morphs with these little anery boa's. Anery type 2 boas can be used to make blizzard, pewter, ghost and many more pure sonoran locality boa morphs and are a valuable asset to any collection as this is likely the rarest of all the pure sonoran locality morphs.

This is another one of our sonoran boas but as I'm sure as you can see from her pattern there's something very different going on. This sonoran boa was bred by H.J, Winner of Germany the founder of the leopard sonoran boa and this boa it's self is het for leopard. I think you'll agree a very visual het with a very stunning pattern. As of yet(Jan 2009) there has not been a double recessive pure sonoran boa made and we think this will make a stunning hypo or anery II pure sonoran boa. We have found this line of boa great to work with and as we know the founder of a morph always holds back the best for themselves, the original (and best) was the only one for us. Be very careful of crossed or (outcrossed)boa's out there being offered as pure sonoran locality boa's.

This is one of our hypo sonoran boa's,these were imported from the states and were bred by Dan and Collette Sutherland at the snake keeper, these blood lines can be traced back to Vin Russo original line of hypo sonoran.Hypo sonorans are co-dominant,meaning if you breed two together there is a "super"(bright with less black) form in them.As we previously said there is no double recessive pure sonoran boas as yet but we will look forward to seeing a ghost and hypo leopard sonoran boa.
